Moxy Dublin Docklands

A modern, end-to-end guest entertainment platform covering bedrooms, public areas and back-of-house, delivered by Airwave Europe.

The Brand

Moxy is Marriott’s bold, design-led lifestyle brand, built around the idea that hotels should feel energetic, social and a little unconventional.

With industrial styling, vibrant communal spaces and a bar that doubles as reception, the brand puts community and interaction at the centre of the guest experience. Bedrooms are compact but smart, supported by 24/7 food and drink and fast, reliable connectivity.

Since debuting in 2014, Moxy has grown to more than 135 hotels worldwide, each built around the same principle: playful design, efficient service and a guest journey powered by modern technology.

The Hotel

Moxy Dublin Docklands brings the brand’s energy to one of the city’s fastest-growing districts. With vibrant social spaces and 183 bedrooms, the hotel required a guest-facing technology solution that matched its modern approach to design and service.

Airwave Europe was appointed to design, supply, and install a unified TV and entertainment system across bedrooms, public areas, and staff spaces.

The Technology

Airwave delivered a complete platform, from rooftop reception and headend, to on-screen guest experience and digital signage:

In-Room Entertainment

  • Installation of 183  × 50-inch LG hospitality TVs, all flat-to-wall mounted for a low footprint.
  • A Uniguest guest room entertainment platform with branded UI, hotel information, and centralised content management.
  • GoogleCast for secure personal streaming.
  • PMS integration offering services such as bill viewing and check out via the TV.
  • Multi-day EPG and a clear, curated channel line-up.
  • Additional LG hospitality screens in staff room, public areas and gym.

Video Wall

  • 2 × 86-inch LG video wall displays configured as a lobby video wall for brand content and guest engagement.

TV Distribution & Infrastructure

The hotel’s TV distribution was rebuilt end to end, from rooftop reception to room delivery. A modern headend, fibre-based backbone and compliant cabling now carry optimised signals across the building, improving picture quality and reliability while making the platform easier to manage and ready to scale.

The Result

A unified entertainment system that’s simple for guests, practical for staff, and resilient behind the scenes. The platform streamlines content management, reduces support overhead, and provides a scalable foundation for future services.
