SCCI Alphatrack deliver revolutionary 4Fibre technology into Kensington's prestigious Oakwood Court apartment blocks.
Oakwood Court is considered to be one of the most prestigious and attractive Edwardian mansion blocks in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The court is composed of a 12 blocks: nine original Edwardian blocks (commissioned in 1899) and three Art Deco blocks (completed in 1930).
With its impressive balcony and roof detail dominating the skyline, the imposing red brick mansion block is situated close to the amenities of Kensington High Street, and a short stroll to Holland Park.
The brief was simple – deploy a network that did not affect the aesthetics or fabric of this beautiful property , and deploy a single fibre infrastructure.
SCCI's 4Fibre team liaised with the freeholder consultant and local resident committee to ensure everyone was happy with the intended deployment. Works were subsequently completed in March 2023 - on what was clearly a complex deployment.
4Fibre deployed fibre service via 8 DPs around the scheme – all linked back to just two meet me points, from where up to 4 ISP’s can service the building without running additional cables.
All core drilling, containment and fire stopping was managed and completed by SCCI, the the network was fully spliced and tested, ahead of sign-off.
Work was successfully deployed over an 8 week period, offering residents full fibre connectivity.
SCCI's partnership with ARC and Freshwater meant these services were introduced to the scheme at no charge to the residents, managing agents or the freeholder.
Once again, SCCI have delivered an installation of outstanding quality. Excellent work again - thank you.Tom Parrish, Arc Partners on behalf of Freshwater
